Call to Order and Review of Minutes:

- Cribbage tournament –
- donations from food $186.49
- proceeds from the tournament – $441.50
- approximately 50-60 registrants from all over the region attended – names retained for next year’s tournament
- First place – William Thompson
- The committee chooses different non-profits to donate proceeds to each year – they may or may not choose NYMP in the future
- Donation of $1,000 received from Linc Merril

- Article IV – concerns with officers section 5 only allows for 3 year term, to be amended at a later date – motion carries

- Nothing new – awaiting call back. Wayne Miller has concerns that a survey is needed in order to determine boundary lines.

- Long Term Committee – no meeting, waiting on Ryan Weeks in order to move forward with additional planning

- Paul spoke with Gary Whiting – not interested in looking at it, retired and only does 10+ acre lots
- Husband of owner of Brick Yard Kennels may be available – Paul to follow up

- Definitely want to do flag poles this year, Eric has been working on pricing
- Kevin picked up donated signs from Bailey Sign for two trail heads – President to send thank you to Ralph Hutchins and Bruce Bailey

- Patti Robinson – Stewardship Chair – needs to know what the long term committee needs in order to plan accordingly
- Eric to check in on Eagle Scout status
- Work to meet in order to discuss events – what to do, what to do differently, Eric to provide email address for Patti in order to submit suggestions
- Linc Merrill will make dedicate money for a yearly corporate membership
- New Business
- Snowmobiles on school and through the park to the town office – liability concern
- Snowmobiles need permission to ride on town land and personal property – some property is posted and some is not.
- Consider posting property
- Vote on type of access
- Straight run from Sharpe property to town hall
- Allow access on marked trail
- Do not assume liability
- As long as you are not creating a hazardous situation, Park would not be held liable
- Trail crosses on RT 9 and up hill to 231
- Address access with boy scout project
- First year of 2 year term for sitting officers

- Should be May – announced ahead of time

- Identify what has been done to date
- Should think of doing something for either Memorial or Flag day (Tuesday the 14th) in an effort to attract more people – need to start planning now
- October 28, 2015 was the last annual meeting and election of officers.

- Prior approval of $400 for funds to file with Secretary of State that we will recognize ourselves as NYVMP; fee is $25.00 – ready for filing, approval should be automatic
- 501C3 – dues will be tax deductible
- Cumberland Farmer’s Club has a lot of businesses that would not donate until they were a 501C3, may be part of charter
- Charitable contributions only allowed for 50% of LLC

- Eric prepared letter to town requesting donation of maintenance fees estimated at $450.00 – Thad to hand deliver to town
